Frank Turner
Channel 7's Frank Turner understands the delicate nature of television news. As an anchor of "Action News at 5 & 7p.m." and "UPN Detroit Action News at 10p.m." he has remained committed to his community, working extensively with the Detroit Public Schools covering health issues and has spearheaded numerous investigative reports.
Turner joined Channel 7 in October 1990 after working as a general assignment reporter and anchor at WWL-TV in New Orleans, and WFLD-TV in Chicago.
Turner is an Emmy winning reporter, and has been honored with several other awards including the Associated Press Broadcasters award, the Radio and Television News Directors Association Michele Clark Fellowship Award, and the New York Festivals Television Award.
Frank is a devoted Christian who enjoys studying and teaching from the bible. He also works as an evangelist and participates in several types of church outreach activities.
